WordPress

Quickie, and not very interesting. I'm thinking about switching over to WordPress.com for my blog.

Anyone out there have any experience with it? Know of any pros or cons?

Have two cents you've been uselessly rubbing together? Now's the time to get rid of them.

I use wordpress, but as an install on my own domain. I'm quite happy with it.

However, I maintain another blog for someone else on the wordpress network, and I don't like it. It does inexplicable weird things (like jamming paragraphs together randomly) and it doesn't let you modify the css unless you upgrade (ie pay).

I do a blog on wordpress, and I find it much more frustrating than blogger.

Hosted by WordPress as some toys of stats built in and a way to see random archive post and same next blog surf-set-up as blogger.

Not hosted by WordPress but using the platform you can install widgets and plugins more easily than with blogger or hosted WordPress.

WordPress has a one step move all posts and comments over from the old blogger. You'd have to check if someone had made a fix to shift all over from new blogger.

Am I up to 2 cents yet? :)

Hey, why don't you like blogger? But it's funny you mention wordpress because the guy who hosts my site capitalyoga.com likes it a lot. I need to change my site soon because it's in mambo, which isn't well supported and other reasons and he thinks I should use word press. But I don't want my main site to be bloggy. But you do! So there you go. A sort of recommendation but no experience :)
