The Seditious Nature of Blogs
I knew when I started writing here that I couldn’t control my words once they were out there. That is the nature of putting your words out in the world. I also knew that the very personal way I write might get me into the occasional spot of trouble. But I never expected to be on the receiving end of a series of vitriolic emails from a couple of different people in a single 24 hour period.
It’s too much for me.
To the people who have been incredibly nice, complimentary, and supportive over the past year or so - please come back here now and again. I haven’t decided if I’m going to stop blogging altogether, or just need some time off to find my lost perspective.

ever since you gave me the url for your blog at a poetry show, i've been hooked. it's one of the rare blogs i enjoy reading thoroughly, because you write well, because you live well and you reflect on mistakes, feelings, etc. i don't know.. i wouldn't put things as eloquently as you would on here. what i'm trying to say is - please don't stop blogging!!
if the people who are sending insulting emails don't get what a blog is, explain it to them. it's not like you're putting their dirty laundry up on here - it's yours. and if they messed with you, well that's their problem.
um... too shy to put my name down. you can most likely check on my IP number though. eep!

happily, i will never know if they've fucked off or not, because i've blocked their email addresses from all of my email accounts.
as it turns out, technology is also a blessing.

I love love love your blog and hope you come back to it soon. You're able to express so much of what all of us think but most of us can't write.
It would be a shame if a couple of loons meant that the rest of us were deprived.
