Photo Op

As it turns out, I'm a queer community notable. Last week Krishna Rau interviewed me for a survey piece in the upcoming Capital Xtra. What's the next hot topic after gay marriage? was the jist of it.

I always feel slightly guilty about stuff like that, and indeed, lovely gay boy photographer Pat Croteau seemed slightly nonplussed by the obvious boyfriend in my bachelor apartment.

But it says a bit about how times have changed. That a femmey-enough-to-consistently-pass-as-straight bi-dyke with a boyfriend (and how's that for an identity) is a notable for the local queer rag is quite something. Something, along with gay marriage, that I didn't think I'd see in my young life.
